Anyone running a Holosun HE509T-RD X2 on their M4?

I was thinking about getting one of these after getting their HS407C X2 for my PSA Dagger pistol.  I wanted something that was titanium, fully enclosed and didn't break the bank.  I currently have a Mesa Tactical SureShell Carrier and Rail for Ben M4 (6-Shell, 12-GA, 5 1/2 in) (mesatactical.com) on the top of my M4.  But I was torn between mounting it directly to that, using a Scalarworks Scalarworks SYNC/RMR - Trijicon RMR mount for Benelli Shotguns that I have or maybe one of those new Mesa Tactical SureShell® Aluminum Carrier With RMR® Mount for Benelli M4 (6-Shell, 12-GA) - Mesa Tactical that has the shell carrier and the RMR mount built in.

What say yea?  Thoughts, comments and suggestions welcomed. ?

probably the best option at the moment, their better than RMR's for multiple reasons!  When I get a 2011 soon, that is what will be going on there

That's what I was thinking for the monies.

Holosun is still iffy on their glass coating and brightness setting for nods. Id go with acro p2 until that is sorted.

I don't own/use nods, but I do see where that would be a concern for some users.

I thought about the ACRO P-2, just not sure how it would work with the Scalarworks or Mesa Tactical RMR mounts.  I saw on Aimpoint's website they have adaptor plates.  Is this the correct one for the P-2 if you have a RMR cut?

Honestly, I have moved away from the SW mounts, because they are predicated on using a 14.25" LOP stock, which is absurd unless I'm using NODS, and then it helps me get my face off the gun, as well as having more built in height (due to the 15.5* slope of the recoil tube and the stock's movement along it). I prefer a C-stock run at the mid setting, which is in the goldilocks zone for  5'6"-6'2" or so people, of about 12" LOP. Under NODS, I will extend it to 14.25" for the room off the gun as well as to "increase optic height". When you run an SW mount, though, it puts you too low for a 12" LOP with the C-stock's cheek-weld. What I have moved to is proper 1913 rails + ADM Ti QD mounts. This is perfect on the 12" LOP, and a bit high (but not bad, it equates to about 2.1-2.2" optic centerline on an AR15) fully extended C-stock, which is PERFECT for NODS and passive aiming. Or just a heads-up position if that's your thing without NODS.

Also, just chill on adapter plates. I keep hearing nothing but bad about them from the handgun guys. Keep an eye on SW if that's you're thing. I doubt they ignore the P2.

10-4, if I decide to go with the P-2 I'll just mount it directly to my rail on top of the M4.  If it's too high I can adjust my Mesa stock to compensate.
