So I got night sights for the M4 and some new screws since they're one time use. My question how much do I tighten the front screw? It keeps turning but I've seen on various places that you can strip the screw if you over-tighten...maybe that applies to Metro sights only. Should I tighten the front screw until it is absolutely tight and ain't moving?

I typically will tighten that little nut right up until the point that the wrench begins to ever so slightly move the metal on the corners. I don't know the torque value for this, and it's very much a "feel" type thing. "Snug". YMMV, proceed with caution.

You want to be very careful with the Mepro night sights, they are VERY soft metal. Blitzkrieg components are more durable but regardless they don’t need to be tightened past the first bit of resistance.
