Gotta love when a brand new gun malfunctions while in the field.  Luckily I brought a back up with me.  The recoil spring plunger snapped while hunting.  Atleast it's an easy fix.

That is an extremely odd failure, you wouldn't think that there would be any side-stresses that would affect that part inside the tube.  Appears to be a MIM or potmetal part, but even then, odd fracture.

I'm just hoping I'm able to get a replacement soon, I really don't want to go back to my 12 gauge haha.

How did you know and what made you look there?

It didn't eject a shell completely.  Then when I tipped the gun up and down you could hear the broken piece sliding in the butt stock.
