M1014/M4 UID tag inquiry

I'm looking to buy one of these for an M4, and was wondering if the following info was correct for the M1014:

TAMCN E1761
NSN 1005014723147

I'm most interested in the TAMCN because I can't actually find it listed anywhere.

That is correct. That's what I used when I got mine made.

What is this used for?  Where does this go?

UID is used for inventory control in US armed forces including USMC.

Attached picture shows Tamcn number and where to put UID sticker.
