  1. I have heard good reviews about the Briley triggers, you have to send them your whole housing so they can fit it for you. I thought about it, but chose instead to go with an OEM aluminum trigger guard, some Wolff trigger group springs for reliability, I didn't change any pull weights. And I lucked up on a Geissele hammer and threw that in. Thats it, I don't plan on doing anything else to it other than shooting it alot to smooth the action out. But if I had to recommend any kit, I'd go with Briley based on the feedback I've heard from people who actually use them.
  2. lol so that was you 2. Congrats.
  3. I just like my guns short unless I'm hunting. Tax stamp addiction is a real thing.

Yes, you want the 2-piece latch for the 20-gauge model. It fits. I could never find one in stock but a board member here sold me one. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/60488 Here is a thread with some good info. https://forums.benelliusa.com/topic/24749-j-kenny-2-piece-shell-latch/

I believe the cutout is just there to help guide rounds in under stress. After a few thumb bites I got rid of it myself and installed the TTI lifter. I also tried polishing the latch to ease loading. Can't say it helped much. The one thing I did try that helped a lot was an M2 latch, but then I would have had to give up my preferred bolt release button, and I didn't like adding another failure point due to the hinged latch. So I ditched it. I can say that just over time and alot of reloading, it's gotten easier.

    CarrierComp

Sometimes they take a minute, they got grandkids. A sweet lady will call you to collect payment soon and all will be well.
  8. Do you mind if they are stippled already?
  9. 🤣 aw man that sucks! At least you know it's tight and not going anywhere. Im sure it will pop itself out of there after you put some rounds through it. Looks good!
  10. That's pretty slick you were able to get 5 3" shells in there. I run a 5rd tube and although I haven't tried, I know I couldn't do the same because it's tight with 5 2 3/4s. I use Federal FC rounds because I have a ton of em, and they run a bit long. Interestingly, with my OEM spring, I couldn't fit 5. I bought a Carrier Comp spring and still couldn't fit 5 without cutting coils. I was also using the OEM follower. I then got a follower with a flat face, as well as a new Carrier Comp spring and can load 5 2 3/4 rounds. I thought maybe since the rounds had been in the tube compressed for over a month the crimps had gotten compressed, but I tried about 40 fresh rounds out the ammo can and they all fit. Go figure.
