Holy thread ressurection, batman!!! This is old info. Wolf Benelli magazine tube springs are a LOT stiffer and longer than the factory M4 leo spring. I replaced 2 of them from new guns because of this recently. Another bonus, the wolf springs, while longer, actually compress shorter than the factory benelli spring. This means its easier to get a 7th round in the tube with the wolf spring!

Considering the bolt is already hard chrome plated, how much of a difference does coating the carrier make? Do you notice it being able to cycle lighrer power loads that it couldn't before?

Try the Winchester Military 00 buckshot. With their new shotcup wad and buffering, they pattern very tightly with choke (tightest with IM choke from benellis)!

Thanks for trying to take a stab at it, i doubt it's that heavy though. Espessially since it's hollow. I also thought I read somewhere that the leo m4 steel tube and extension weighed around 12 ounces total?

The LEO models have a steel extension vs the alluminum fake extension. I'm curious how much heavier they are.

Depending on the distance and size of the boar. Under 400 pounds and 40 yards or less, the tightest patterning full power 00 or 000 buckshot you can find. Over 40 yards or 400 pounds, rifled slug (either brenneke, Federal Deep Penetrator, or Federal classic 1.25 ounce foster).

I know the one piece titanium magazine extensions weigh around 5 to 6 ounces. I am curious about the weight difference between the factory LEO two piece steel tube (5 round + 2 round steel extension) and the one piece factory 7 round oem steel tube. Thank you!

Is benelli going to be selling the gen 2 controls seperately? Would love to pick them up.

As can be seen in the picture, the barrel is NOT forward anywher near the same distance as the right handguard. Also the left handguard IS fully seated. Furthermore, these bolt assist devices are supposed to be able to be installed in this fashion and are supposed to let your guns fire just fine! I am just not sure if Dave's is different as it specifies in the instruction manuel that one should file the handguard (but none of the other bolt assist devices require such)? Would prefer to hear from someone who has actual experience with the Dave's Metal Works speedbar.
