nyc71
Has anyone here mount a Matchsaverz on a M1 forend? The inside walls are too thick for the size screw. Just in case the one on the right is a M2. Edited December 31, 2023 by nyc71
Steve Rose
I've installed several. Remove enough material inside the forearm to allow the screw's nut to fit inside and clear the barrel and mag tube.

Btw, if is not too much to ask, can you show the inside of yours?
Steve Rose
Sorry, we do not have a M1 here at the moment. Center the hole vertically between the barrel and magazine tube and at a front/rear position that approximates the location on that M2 in your picture. Use a file or dremel tool to remove just enough material to let the nut to fit into the forearm We install the Matchsaverz on all the popular 3 Gun shotguns for our clients quite often. Get'em in, get'em out.
