Has anyone here mount a Matchsaverz on a M1 forend? The inside walls are too thick for the size screw. Just in case the one on the right is a M2.

That's what I was thinking, thanks. 

Btw, if is not too much to ask, can you show the inside of yours?

Sorry, we do not have a M1 here at the moment. Center the hole vertically between the barrel and magazine tube and at a front/rear position that approximates the location on that M2 in your picture. Use a file or dremel tool to remove just enough material to let the nut to fit into the forearm
