JustBC Posted January 1 Share Posted January 1 I am thinking about getting either the MWI or Mesa fore-end for my M4. Has anyone had issues with aluminum fore-ends heating up during heavy firing? JustBC Posted January 1 Author Share Posted January 1 Well, after reading Strangerdanger and airbourne6176's posts on this thread, methinks I am going to stick with OEM polymer. It is nice because I can get a full grip around the top and your hand will never touch the barrel. I love this handguard and I am so glad I got it.
