highstand Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I shoot 2.75 shells in my Nova and have good results. I use it for rabbit, dove and turkey. Its an awesome versatile gun if there ever was one. Also burn a lot of 3 and 3.5 shells with no problem. If you opt to shoot heavy 3.5 loads spring for the recoil reducer and bracket cause it will save your shoulder on the range and hunting. Quote
Chessie Dog Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 The Nova will cycle 2.75, 3 and 3.5. I've shot all three from quail hunting to swan hunting and deer. If it jams with a 3.5, I've gotten too anxious and short shucked it. Excellent pump gun for the money. Quote
