CEBEP
As far as I know improved cylinder choke is best for accuracy with rifled slugs, better with 00 buck too. Could you guide me which brand/models to buy for my M4? I know nothing about chokes and would appreciate some guidance.
CEBEP
Installed choke has 3 notches, so I assume it’s a modified choke. Is it good for slugs or should I change it to C or IC?
John Doe
Choke sizes are a big topic. There are quite a few post on here about them and different slugs and choke use. I personally run a full choke with Ddupleks slugs. That has been my go-to, and I have made post on here about them. If you are using foster style slugs then a modified choke SHOULD be fine, but I suggest you do more research on that yourself. I like Carlson chokes and Benelli chokes. Again you may get different answers on this subject because it can be very subjective to the individual shotgun. Search this forum on the topic and you should get back some results. Hope this helps.
