I am interested in the Chisel Machining Benelli M4 stock (USA made) and had a question regarding 922R compliance.interested in

I am receiving my Benelli M4 this week and have purchased the following items to install.
1) Rxarms magazine extension (Canadian made)
2) Midwest industries Handguard (USA made)
3) Follower (USA made)

From my understanding of 922R I need to add three USA made parts to be in compliance. I am highly interested in the Chisel Machining Benelli M4 stock and think it would make me 922R compliant. But I was on freedom fighter tactical’s website and saw the following:q

“The most parts you'll ever need is replacement of 4 parts with 4 USA made parts.

  • Benelli M4 shotgun with 7 round magazine tube and no collapsible stock:  needs 3 parts
  • Benelli M4 shotgun with collapsible stock or non-collapsing skeletonized stock, no 7 round mag tube:  needs 4 parts
  • Benelli M4 shotgun with 7 round magazine AND collapsible stock or non-collapsing skeletonized stock:  needs 4 parts”

I thought I would be in the clear, but Item #3 about the “collapsible stock or non-collapsing skeletonized stock needing 4 parts” has me confused/concerned. Since I am adding a non-American extension and will have 1) USA hand guard, 2) USA follower, and 3) USA made stock, do I need a 4th part to be compliant with 922R? I thought as long as the stock isn’t collapsing/foldable I only need to add 3 USA parts.

I am in California if that means anything. Thanks all. below is the linked product.

As much as I love and respect RXarms and all his products and what he does, I would suggest you go with a full length American Made mag tube for the 922. As stupid as that "law" is and as much as I and many others, disagree with it, I would say it is better to be safe than sorry. Just get the American Made full length tube and all the other parts and I think you will be fine. Some will say, who cares, and just to build it the way you want, but I and they are not lawyers nor is anything I say legal advice nor should you just listen to anyone on the internet. If you are concerned with it then maybe contact a lawyer or reach out to the ATF for clarification for you. Hope this info helps. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask anytime.

Also, fyi, If you call Freedom Fighter Tactical, im sure he would be more than happy to give you his thoughts on the subject as well, oh, and im sure try to sell you some, um, very expensive parts lol.
