Converting M2 3gun with 7 shell magazine to 2 shell magazine

I have a pre 2023 M2 3 gun 12 gauge with a performance shop 7 shell magazine that I which to covert to a legal Florida Waterfowl shotgun

I am planning on getting a 28 in barrel but can't seem to find a 5 shell limiter plug

Florida has 3 shell total in firearm   so 2 in magazine 1 in chamber

what size and where can I find a standard magazine and spring with a plug limiting it to 2 shell capacity

Thank you in advance

Mike

I'm late to the party, but the easiest method for converting would be to get a red factory plug and a factory barrel nut from somewhere like MidWest Gunworks. The performance shop mag tubes are extensions that screw onto the end of the factory magazine tube.

Getting another barrel will cost you a chunk more, and you might want to consider picking up another M2 instead. A used M2 field with a 26-28" barrel will run you around $800-1000, and a new 28" barrel will run $500-600 by itself.

Another idea would be to scrap this idea, unless the gun is setup correctly you will damage your carrier latch, thus creating a issue in which the carrier latch is bent, either allowing multiple shells release from the magazine or no release from the magazine.  M4's perform this task better because there are marketplace offering that have been tested for 7 shot magazines.  Most aftermarket companies have no concept of anything that is discussed here other than selling you a 7 shot magazine tube.
