SBE3 Standard vs Compact

Is the SBE3 28 gauge compact (model #: 11340) the exact same gun as the SBE3 28 gauge (model #: 10330) with a shorter stock? 

 

I'm wondering if this is a gun that I can buy for my children and when they are big enough buy a standard size stock.

Yes   If you have intent to purchase the standard size stock at some point I would not wait very long to do this.  These parts will be difficult to source years down the road.  Purchase the gun  with the Compact Stock and then buy the  full size stock.  The compact stock with hard to source currently and in the future..  Based on the Franchi Affinity 3 compact - the compact stock has not been available for nearly 2 years.

Do you know if the 28 gauge stock and 20 gauge stock are the same?
