Just picked this up the other day (layaway is my friend). This is catalog #11732, and was purchased under Benelli's "Qualified Professionals" program. I was a little surprised to see that this came fully assembled (except for the charging handle), since other Benellis I've seen come with at least the barrel packed separately in the box. The box itself was a plain cardboard box instead of the familiar red and white Benelli colors.

Paperwork inside the box said "M4 SUPER 90 XM1014" and listed two serial numbers - the one on the gun itself (Y236xxxx) and another one (TM152xxxx). Anyone know what the second number is supposed to represent?

Is the second # you speak of on the barrel or somewhere else?

Mine came together as well. Thought it was odd and a little irritating since the front sight nearly broke through the box.

Edit: The brown boxes are typically used for LE/MIL sales and the white for civi sales.
