dukY Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Guys I have a new sbe 2 and I was just curious if there was a problem with the gun sometimes not shooting when you pull the trigger. I think it is the 3rd. time it has happened too me since I started dove hunting. I pull the trigger guns goes click and no boom. I eject the shell and there is no dent on the primer cap. Any info would be great thanks... Quote

mudhen Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 El bolto no closo.... Does it release a shell from the mag when this happens? Seems to happen with light loads more than magnum loads. Clean the chamber mouth area, hold the gun firm, follow break in instructions, etc. It happens to me sometimes, maybe every 4-5 years or so.... mudhen - CA Quote

I noticed when I pulled back the charging handle to see if a round was chambered then put it back forward the bolt needs a lil help just adding a lil presure to make sure it seats correctly. It looks like the bolt rotates a lil and up to seat correctly. Another thing I noticed when having this problem. When I took apart the bolt I noticed after reading the manual that the locking head pin has a line on the top that should be placed aligned with the bolts centerline. I did not do this correctly and when I did so I have not had the problem you are having anymore. Quote
