usctf Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Greetings to all...new Benelli owner and Forum member here. I just purchased an M1014 (wanted the M4LE but "settled"). Haven't had a chance to get out with it yet, as we were bombarded with snow this past weekend. Noticed the front sling attachment is "semi permanent" with a two-hole "c" washer locking the sling attachment in place. I would like to spin the sling attachment 90 degrees to properly mount a 3-point tactical sling but am nervous about spreading that metal "c" washer to unlock the sling attachment. Has anyone done this with success? Thanks in advance!! Quote
RoyK5 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I moved mine 90 degrees using c-ring pliers. Quote

I worry about dinging stuff up as well. If something gets wear from use, I'm fine with it. However, it's a completely different story if I booger something up screwing around. By the way, keep the M1014 pics coming. They are much appreciated. Quote
