after removing the butt pad and the hex nut from a pistol grip butt stock, how do i get the buttstock off the gun. appears that the washer is glued to the bolt inside the buttstock.

You do NOT remove the buttplate to remove the stock from the shotgun.

 

Remove the trigger group from the shotgun. Then unscrew the stock and pistol grip in a counter-clockwise motion (when viewed from the rear of the shotgun.)

Thanks, Your answer made more sense then all the pages of benelli's instruction book. took the gun apart in a few seconds and replaced the buttstock with the collapsible one. thanks again
