Alaskashooter Posted September 8, 2004 Share Posted September 8, 2004 I need to have my new sbe ll fitted since I'm large. I've dropped the stock the maximum with the shims provided by Benelli. rdn Posted September 9, 2004 Share Posted September 9, 2004 It sounds that you have the same fitting problems I do. For that reason I bought a SBE1 this spring instead of waiting for the SBE2. SBE1's have a D shim available which gives me all the drop I need. One draw back is the SBE1 does not have the cast off option which would be sweet. I love my SBE1. Good luck and good hunting. rdn Posted September 14, 2004 Share Posted September 14, 2004 I take it by birddog's reply that he thinks it is possible to do some fitting on a synthetic stock. In that vane is there any after market shims for the SBE1 that would offer different fits like cast off, extra drop etc.? I notice on my SBE1 there is enough room between hole in stock and recoil spring tube to give me a little cast off if I had proper shims.
