Gun Problems

Recommended Posts

If you haven't broken it in, you absolutely need to do that. Like Nate suggested, put a couple of boxes of heavy loads through it and then give it a good cleaning. Remember to keep it sucked up tight to your shoulder. Recoil actions need something to recoil against.

Thanks ya'll. It was the first hunt and we had a handfull of woodies coming in to the beaver swamp in south Alabama when the problems happened. MAN !!!! talk about 10 minutes of shooting and cussing !!

I will swap out the 1400 fps 2 3/4 for the 3" and run a few boxes through. I also cleaned it up good and lubricated the slide.

I have an offer to hunt a couple of crawfish ponds south of here, so maybe I'll get to break it in.

Thanks again
