I guess I'm an idiot but I can't figure out which shim to use to lower POI....... an how far does it lower???? Thanks in advance for any help out there..... tucker301 Posted September 11, 2006 Share Posted September 11, 2006 Try the C shim and shoot your patterns at 30 yards. Check the way you're sighting the gun. The target should be fully visible above the front bead, not covered by it. The mid bead should appear just below the front bead, making a figure 8, not covering it. Watch how Tom Knapp shoots birds and you will see how he leads the birds and shoots under them. C was not low enough for me, and Benelli does not make a D for the SBE II. I shaved the A and added it to the C. It's ok, not great though...
