What do you do if your new SBE 2 shoots high.... Shim,,,, Yes but, which shim does what? I guess I'm an idiot but I can't figure out which shim to use to lower POI....... an how far does it lower???? Thanks in advance for any help out there.....

Try the C shim and shoot your patterns at 30 yards.

Check the way you're sighting the gun.

The target should be fully visible above the front bead, not covered by it.

The mid bead should appear just below the front bead, making a figure 8, not covering it.

It shoots high by design. Once you figure it out, most like the feature. Watch how Tom Knapp shoots birds and you will see how he leads the birds and shoots under them.

C was not low enough for me, and Benelli does not make a D for the SBE II.

I shaved the A and added it to the C. It's ok, not great though...

For me, my SBE II shoots higher than any other Benelli I have owned.
