fezman
i like to use a 20 gauge with a modified choke this way i can let the little buggers get a little farther away from the dog before i blast em. (doc aint too steady)
Pointer
Thats totally fair enough. Do people commonly use the 12g over there? i heard from a guy at a club a couple of weeks ago that you guys over there use single barrels quite alot aswell.. anyway thanks for the reply
fezman
i used to use a 12 all the time but i got tired of lugging it around all the time. my 20 is lighter and faster to use than my 12 its also a lot less punnishing on me. i like to shoot a lot of skeet and 200 rounds through a 20 is a lot less ouch than an 12. as for single bbls i have a .410 that i like to plink with but for the most part every one that i hunt with uses auto loaders im the odd man out with the o/u. they think im snootie but i can snap off 2 shots while there still waiting for there guns to cycle.
