Cleaning dipped nova?

I recently recieved a new Max 4 nova. I was wondering what the best stuff to use to clean it is? What is safe to put on the outside of it without fear of it damaging the finish?

Use a damp cloth and wipe it dry with a clean, dry cloth.

Do I need to worry about getting anything on it? I've heard deet will harm the finish...anything else to worry about?

Try to avoid contacts with solvents and oils as well.
