Fired 100's of rounds out of my M2 and it hasn't come flying off like I've heard the GG&G part doing. I also had the same DMW part on a 14" M1 when I was kicking in doors for a living. It went through **** and never flew off. Tac Star makes one that is all one solid piece and doesn't use the 2-piece threaded collar set-up, if that's what you're looking for.
