Nate23
Anyone tried out one of the Burris Speed Dots? I am interested in giving one a try on my SuperNova this year for turkeys. I have only used standard open sights before. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Nate
cmshoot
I T&E'ed one of the Burris Xtreme Tactical red dots a while back. Worked great and I never had a problem with it. I mounted it to an M4, a Springfield Armory SOCOM16 and to a Marlin .444 carbine.
Orphanedcowboy
I have never used one on a shotgun, but I have one on a H&R Ultra Hunter in 450 Marlin for hog hunting and it is the cats meow! I love it, easy to get a site picture and fast handling when the action gets hot. Burris used to make a 2 x 50 mm long ago and I searched high and low for one before settling on the Speed Dot. It handles the recoil and has never lost it's zero, even when shooting 500 gr Barnes solid hand loads.
