Scott Vix
Your choice gentlemen. 1oz or 1 1/8oz non toxic load, ducks, out of a 20ga. Which are ya shootin / prefer??
TMAC
The 3" #2's would also be my choice, steel or hevi-shot is up to you and your budget. I finished the duck season off here shooting my 20ga 1100 with 3" #2's Winchester experts, and had no trouble killing ducks but I would skimp on shooting the 2 3/4" shells. Ducks are way tougher than Pheasants, so give everything you got with your 20ga.
Liberty or death Jr.
I would go with heavy shot #4 or #6, I don't like shooting anything bigger then a #4 through my 20 gauge but its your choice. Its like shooting T shot steel out of a normal bore 12 gauge. I used a 20 gauge for my first year of duck hunting and it did great, I forgot what shells I used with it though, sorry. Scott Vix
Appreciate the comments, but the question pertained to shot charge weight.....1oz, or 1 1/8oz.
Novaduckhunter
Personally I like a little more shot, so I'd go for 1 1/8 oz. Buy a box of each and see what your gun shots best.
