BoKnows308
Need some help. Just got in My new SBE2 yesterday and was trying to mount my Weaver 93 base on it. Barrel is drilled and tapped. When I went to remove the factory screws, there are no slots for a screwdriver. I scratched off the camo thinking I would find the screw slot under the camo. Nothing yet? Has anyone else had this problem? Bo
tucker301
They are hard rubber plugs which can be pushed out from the inside using a small punch or similar instrument.
beckhamd
I took mine to the Bass Pro Shop in Dallas. The gunsmith had to use a scribe and a small hammer to remove. Looking back on it I probabbly could have done it myself but why screw up the gun. Only cost me $10.00 dollars to have them do it and I was out in 15 minutes. tucker301
No problem. I'm glad to see someone use the Search feature and actually find something useful here.
