Before I put out the big bucks can any tell me if the SBE II is a versatile gun. I would primarily be using it for Turkey and would buy the turkey model, but could I use it for upland game in the fall?

I hunt doves and geese in Septemeber, ducks and geese in October - February, rabbits, upland birds, and deer in November - January, and Spring turkey in April with my SBEII (26").

I shoot the occasional clay bird when I get really bored.

I'm thinking about trying my SBEII for deer and was wondering if you could tell me what kind of slugs you are using and if the rifled choke tubes improve accuracy?

I've just gotten the SBE II with 28 inch barrel.

What do you think the best hunting use would be with an additional 24 inch barrel?

Very Versatile,It will handle bird shot loads as light as 3 drams. Just change out the chokes and go hunting..for 1400.00 plus they dog done well should be versatile..You will enjoy the SBE Good Shooting sir.
