i was looking at buying a nova and wondered if there are any flaws with the gun. i will mostly be using it for trap shooting and the occasional hunt for rabbit or deer. would you reccomend this gun?

Well, I was going to buy the Nova based upon trying a friends, but then someone paraded the M4 past me. What do you plan to use the Nova for? If it is solely fun and games and home defense, go for it. Very smooth action on the Nova and Supernova.

Well, I have three Super Nova's and love them all. Don't get me wrong I still want a M4 but would not trade my SN for nothing. I have one that is my HD/Go to the range gun, one is my hunting small game and the other is now a full time slug gun. Here ia a pic of the the first two.CIMG0165Large.jpg

And my XD-9.

They are great guns. Mine can account for a few dozen doves, a few dozen ducks, a pile of rabbits, and over 100 geese. From this fall. Not one problem that had to do with the gun.

I do not know about trap, it doesn't seem to have the rib that most people like, but to each his own. Good luck with your discision. They are a great gun. If I were to get one though, I would go for the SuperNova, they cost a little more, but they have a bigger trigger guard, mine is a little small when wearing gloves, and it has comfortech, which should reduce the recoil some.
