M2 with light loads

I am in the process of getting a left-hand M2, and was wondering what success others are having with light 7/8 oz loads. My Beretta 391 will function with 3/4 oz loads, but I don't expect the M2 to work with loads that light. But if the M2 will work with 7/8 oz loads, I will use it for skeet more often. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

I have an M2 that I used for 5-stand and Sporting Clays. It will cycle 2.75 dram 1 Ounce loads all day long but is very unreliable with 7/8 and lighter loads. THis is even after 12K rounds through it.

 

After you get it broke in with some heavier field loads I would try 2-3 boxes of the loads that you want to shoot and see.
