Devlin Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 This evening I did a detail strip of the bolt of my newly purchased SBE II and cleaned it per the directions provided before heading out to the range this weekend. I have re-assembled it but want to be certain I did it correctly to that end I took some photos I was hoping folks more familiar with Benelli's on this forum could take a look at to confirm. I don't have a sufficient post count to put links to photos but if you want to email me through the forum I can send you the link to the pictures. After re-assembling the bolt when I pressed the bolt face back towards the bolt carrier and then pushed the firing pin with a soft tipped screw driver the pin came out about 1/4 of an inch (just eyeballing it...didn't actually measure). If you don't mind taking a look it would be greatly appreciated. The gun went back together fine and a test fire with a snap cap felt the same as it did other times. Quote
