phipsi170
I just bought an M2 and have two questions. I also own the older model super black eagle. 1) The manual shows you how to disassemble the gun...including taking off the forend assembly. The SBE is easy to remove, but the M2 is difficult to take off (very snug). I'm now reading that there is no need to take off the forend assembly even when cleaning. Is this correct? 2) It seems like a very tiny piece of the black metal has been chipped away (my guess is when someone put it together before putting it into the case when I picked it up. Is it possible to have a gunsmith "repaint" it? By small I mean the size of this letter "i", but it is my line of sight and driving me crazy. By the way...I absolutely love the gun! CH/QuakerBoyProstaff
where is the chip at?
phipsi170
At the tip of the receiver. Basically, I think the barrell nipped it slightly when someone originally put it together. It's really very small and doesn't impact the functioning of the gun at all. But, for some reason my eyes are drawn to the "chip/scratch"
