MtGoat Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Are the M1S90 bolts interchangeable between M1's? Are SBE bolts interchangeable between SBE's? I found an older SBE in camo (goose gun) with a bolt that will allow you to ghost a round, my black SBE will not. Can I trade the bolts and carriers (complete assembly) with no safety issues(I don't need to ghost a round on a waterfowl gun and do not want to get into a hassle with the Fish and Wildlife service over 3 vs 4 round gun)? I also found a M1S90 that I believe I could swap bolts with the guy for very little to no $, will both shotguns still be safe to trade the bolt assemblies (same deal...it would allow me to ghost a round on the carrier)? Thanks Pat Quote
MtGoat Posted January 2, 2008 Author Posted January 2, 2008 Bump to top....can I safely trade an older bolt assembly for a newer one in the same model gun or do they have to be "fit" to the gun by a gunsmith? Pat Quote
