With my 870 I ordered it in the youth model so that I wouldn't have any problem catching under my arm. I'm wondering if any of you have change to the smaller pad and how it worked out shooting the 3 1/2. Was there a increase in recoil? Quote
tucker301 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I switched to the shorter pad for use when I have heavier clothing on, but I've wound up using it all the time. I don't notice any increase in recoil, but then again recoil never bothered me to begin with. Quote
