SBE2
Alright, I just thought of something while getting my benellis ready for turkey season (WHOOOOOO, ITS ALMOST HERE!!!) Every time I clean one of my benellis I lock the bolt open and slam it forwards as though a shell is being chambered. Now, I have an ar-15 and have been told by most its bad to slam the bolt closed on an empty chamber, and I have been told by others that it wouldn't hurt anything at all. So, my question is will doing this hurt a benelli or should I have nothing to worry about? I also would like to know if it is bad, may I have hurt anything, and if so how do I check it for damage? Thanks very much, SBE2
HOGWILD
Manual does not mention it is ok to do it so could be something to this thought? Maybe Jonny36 could chime in Benelli CS will answer your questions but i feel they will tell you NO do not do it?
tucker301
I've been letting my slam on empty for years and never had a problem.
