.660 Jellyhead, Win. XR 1 3/4 oz. #6's, 35-40 yds, 8" beard, 1" spurs. Looked to be a 2 yr. bird (guessing), didn't weigh it but guessed to be close to 20 lbs. Thanks for the shell recommendation Mudhen;)

I really think those XR's are worth the price for the punch they pack.

 

Were the spurs sharp or rounded? If they look like candy corns, he was probably two.

He hit the ground like a ton of bricks!

 

More rounded, but, just starting to get sharp. The spurs were exactly 1" and 1/2" wide at the bases. Probably 2 and 2 1/2 year bird. Tku, Garry
