Benelli M1 or M4

Hello,

I am ready to buy a new tactical shotgun and was ready to pull the trigger on an M4 purchase till a friend said I'd be happier with the M1 and save a few hundred dollars. Which is the better gun, money doesn't matter as I was minutes away from buying the M4.

I have both. Your friend may have his/her reasons, but none that would sway me from choosing an M4 over an M1.

I also have both (actually, I have the M2, but it is essentially the same as an M1), and although I love my M2, it does not compare to my M4. If cost is not an issue, the M4 wins hands down.

I still prefer the M1 it still eats anything I feed it and it's still the only auto approved by my agency. Then again I tend to stick with what works, if I was just getting into Benelli I might go with the M4.
