Remove the recoil pad Remove the stock retaining nut (this requires a metric socket - I believe it's 13mm) Remove the locking plate noting its orientation Slide the stock off and collect the shims, noting their orientation If you want to remove the stock retaining nut screw, you'll need to heat the assembly to loosen the loctite.
