Ive posted before but never seen a detailed instruction. I want do disassemble the stock of my SBII comforetch because I want to clean out the recoil tube and spring. Can anyone help me?

It's a simple operation that would not generally require a step by step guide.

 

Remove the recoil pad

Remove the stock retaining nut (this requires a metric socket - I believe it's 13mm)

Remove the locking plate noting its orientation

Slide the stock off and collect the shims, noting their orientation

 

If you want to remove the stock retaining nut screw, you'll need to heat the assembly to loosen the loctite. Do not use a torch. Hot water will work.

 

Post back if you need instructions on how to re-assemble. :rolleyes:

Sounds pretty simple just wanted to disassemble the srping from the recoil tube, clean both of them out
