What model Is your gun?

Brand new, the goal is to convert this ext m4 to an sbs so if anyone is interested in a multicam black barrel with the choke system ill make you a good deal to offset the cost of the 14" barrel. I was thinking $500? I have extensive feedback on tacswap, and happy to talk on the phone to provide any and all info. Ill also cover shipping anywhere in the US.

Man that came out fantastic. Good work. As someone who also had to take off the 1 position tube I wouldnt wish that on anyone.

Did you see the picture I attached? Clearly your statement is false.

Benelli ended their importation relationship with H&K in 1997 and the M1014/M4 was introduced in 1998, so there are no H&K stamped M1014s or M4s.

I doubt they made the pad. I am not experienced with any Benelli that has had this issue, but I have a lot of Remington 700's from the 90's - 2000's that had Limbsaver recoil pads. In spite of all having great lives in temperature controlled safes, they did similar. Thankfully, both Remington and Limbsaver eventually started a recall program. However, they did it after most people had already done it themselves. Thankfully they are not expensive and for most guns they are easy to do. I am not recoil adverse for most calibers until you start getting up to 12 gauge 3.5" mags or .338 Lapua / .375 H&H territory so I put back harder pads that won't deteriorate. Those handful of guns that I actively shoot that do recoil harder than I care to absorb, I'll just replace the pad once every 20 - 30 years or so.

To my knowledge they don't exist. The M4 was derived from the M1014 which was designed to comply with the gas operated requirement of the USMC shotgun contest. That gas operated design utilized Benelli's ARGO which, in a different form, was also used in their short lived auto loading rifles. If memory serves, were around the time of HK imports. Welcome to the site. As far as the M4, I am fairly sure you'll have to settle for a much younger brother to your M1. However, in spite of some of us like myself being partial to the Benelli Inertia action, the M4's do fit into the collection nicely. If you are looking for a rare HK variant for your collection, consider an M3, it's a semi-auto/pump combo gun. They re-released it recently too though the original has a rare folding stock version that I am partial to. If you decide you want a rare M4, the NP3 model 11711 is likely the rarest of that model. I can’t believe a company like Benelli only has one casting shim. (Ethos Sport) Ridiculous!!! When I mount the middle bead is off to the right. Check your fit if you are shooting to the left. Should have waited for the semi I originally wanted.

Hello all, I am on the quest to find an HK import for a Benelli M4. How common are they and what kind of premium do they command? I have an HK Imported M1S90 and he wants a younger brother to play with. Thanks!

If you have installed the m4 trigger kit from Freedom fighter tactical please tell me if it was a drop in or did you take it to a gunsmith and which finishes did you use. and how do you like it. thanks

Sir, I did a search and came up with this from 3 years ago, PBFitz will likely not respond. You may search past discussions further if you'd like. Also available is the "Need help with your BENELLI firearm" which is the first pinned discussion, good luck!

Thanks PBFitz. I followed your instructions and got to the point of pushing the trigger assembly back in to reseat it but it won’t go. I put a lot of pressure on it but still wouldn’t go. Any other tips? or @remarkable and other thoughts? Thanks guys! Todd

I have a Nova 20 gauge and would like to replace the recoil pad with a softer Benelli pad that is a drop in fit for my stock. Please suggest a Benelli pad for my 20 gauge Nova.

I am looking to buy a 828 S special edition. Please contact me if you are willing to sell or know of someone selling an 828 S Special edition.
-
It looks like packing oil or light grease rather than a finish issue, but the forearm may have been forced on slightly out of alignment, causing minor scratches from the sharp barrel ring.

From 2023: PBFitz Posted November 3, 2023 Hello All - REMARKABLE totally helped me with this. My trigger system was totally jammed - due to my stupidity- I did everything wrong.. and paid the price .. I needed to remove the steel locking plate (held in by the plastic locking block on the floor of the receiver) & once out, I could manually press in the firing pin hammers manually. Once that was done, I could muscle the trigger group back into position and lock it back into normal position.. it does take some pressure, but nothing violent. Very happy for the support and guidance

Yep I did it 🫣. I didn’t check to insure my lever was in the closed position and tried to remove my trigger now it’s stuck half in and half out. A few years ago someone posted a step by step to fix the issue but I can’t find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Todd

I'm satisfied with my Vinci, but a big failure with its pad and its body. About the pad I replaced it, but I don't know what to do with its sticky, gummy plastic body. A big disappointment. I never expected this to happen to a Benelli .
