  1. IMHO it would be a great idea. When I goose hunt all I pack is 3.5.
  2. When I bought my Benelli the selling dealer told me a 3.5" 12 ga is equivalent to a 3" 10 ga. Don't know if this is true but it is very close.
  3. I read the article and it seemed to lean toard the 28 for the average shooter. The hunting for the past two years has switched to higher shots in my neck of the woods.
  4. What are the pros and cons of the 26 and 28 inch barrels. Thanks for the info.
  5. What is a good material to use for pattening? How big of a target is recommended ? Any info is appreciatted
  6. Shoot the contractors truck if and when they arrive, it will be more satisfying. lol
  7. I installed a recoil reducer and a limbsaver recoil pad on my SBE at the same time. I had injured my arm two weeks earlier and was having diffuculty shooting any gun. With the aforementioned upgrades I shot approximately 35 3 1/2 inch shells on a goose hunt with no pain or discomfort at all. I highly recommend both products.
  8. Instead of shooting birds you just hit them in the head with the choke tube. lol
  9. I am new to Benelli also, if anyone can explain how to use the shims properly it would be much appreciated.
  10. I am a new owner of a SBE also 2 weeks, the gentleman that sold me my gun said to use any major makers gun oil very sparingly, he showed me his gun with over 12000 rounds through it this year alone and it looked and felt like new. I know his gun is several years old. He owns an all black model and he has worn through the outside finish on the gun in several places.
