ditto to you all, jjaajajaja see, again making the same mistakes! you guys know it all... sorry... even if you dont undertand spanish, jajajaj All I can see is why both of you are not moderators(even if you try...to know it all), benelli would be ashamed of having people like you answering to the post made by future customers. and for the ones who cant read enough I stated that "since we dont have a Benelli dealer where I live". MEANS THAT THERE ARE NO BENELLI DEALERS IN MEXICO.!!!!! TO BE ABLE TO CHECK AND SEE THE GUN BEFORE BUYING ONE. THANKS TO YOU ALL OTHERS... from down the border, JOE

EVEN TRULOCK CHOKES RECOGNIZE THE ERROR ON THE WEBSITE AND GIVE THE SBEII CHOKES THE NAME (CRIO PLUS) TO DIFFERENTIATE THEM FROM THE ONES USED BY THE SUPER SPORT.
-
NOT TO WORRY, TRULOCK CHOKES ARE GOOD BUT, WHY DO I HAVE TO BUY FORD ENGINES FOR MY FERRARI...?
-
please undertand the I bought an item from the info I had from the website(there is no benelli dealer where I live) the BENELLI website the site informs that the supersport has the crio "extended" chokes. WHILE THE SBEII HAS CRIO CHOKES WHAT DO YOU UNDERTAND? CHOKES ARE THE SAME BUT EXTENDED ON THE SUPER SPORT, RIGHT? does beretta offer the xtrema with optima or optima plus chokes?(meaning they are different) WHAT IS OBVIOUS TO SOME IS NOT TO OTHERS... IF MUDHEN GOT BURNED BY WHAT IS OBVIOUS TO HIM AND WHAT IS NOT TO OTHERS, THATS HIS PROBLEM. CHECK THE WEBSITE THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN THE NAMES IS THE WORD "EXTENDED" WHICH IS NOT ALL TRUE, RIGHT? please go and check, do your homework! what would you understand if BRILEY offered beretta/benelli chokes and beretta/benelli extended chokes? XXXXX websites should be clear. you should try reading European forums and learn some.... seems like every question a forum reader has, is responded as if it was obvious. aknowledge and recognize, the web site is wrong!!!! I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP POTENTIAL BUYERS OF THE SUPER SPORTS TO SEE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT OBVIOUS FROM THE INFO ON THE WEBSITE. WHY SHOULD I GO TO TRULICK CHOKES BEFORE I BUY MY FERRARI(SORRY IT IS NOT OBVIOUS..) came here for help... my mistake, won´t happen again, if ever... from down the border, JOE [ 02-17-2006, 02:54 PM: Message edited by: Nelli Girl ]

as of today, could you tell me who has a skeet choke for the super sport? and how should I ask for it? because beretta bores are much different than benellis......... many months after I received my SBEII briley came up with the optima plus chokes which are not the same!!!! talk about AM....! brownells in the last catalog(58) came with a set of afetermerket chokes for the SBEII (almost two years after....) wow! wonder when will they come for the supersport? and yes, theres more challenge with a .041 but when there is money on the line, how much is overkill? competing in live bird (TAPA style(if you undestand what that means!!) where we get great purses there is no challege to spare. having 4 national podiums in the last two years shooting sporting clays, and hand thrown live pigeon, you guessed it, I´m a looser. jajaja sorry. from down the border, JOE
-
I´m with you, and share your pain... I also shoot skeet with both of my benellis. and I had to order some special chokes from WRIGHT´S GUNSMITHING. I also shoot ducks and geese with lead shot(mexico) and ordered an extrafull choke! guess benelli doesn´t pay attention to real shooters about their needs... just hunters... how about 4 generations of choke systems in a couple of years.... shame.....what will happen in a few years???? when will benelli have a backbored guns?? you guessed it right, just after you buy another... from down the border, JOE [ 02-16-2006, 12:34 AM: Message edited by: MASTERBLASTR ]

I own a SBEII and a SUPERSPORT and though both share the comfortech system and the crio barrels the chokes are different. not only the supersport chokes are extended (GOOD!) they wont fit the SBEII. oooooooooops!!!!!!!! this information was suppossed to be classified... I bought the supersport in order to swap chokes from one to the other, chokes I had made to order for the SBEII by WRIGHT´S GUNSMITHING. now I´ll have to order a new set, one that will have to fit the supersport... web site lacks more data...it sucks! hope this helps you, as no one helped, me. from down the border, JOE
-
what is the price you guys paid for the supersport? are the stocks real carbon fiber or fake plastic painted like carbon fiber? I own a sbeII buy I want a new one for the clays... thanks from down the border, JOE questions are because I´ve never seen one and love the looks... .
-
thanks, I´ll be reporting this to customer service, I can only hope the Benelli customer´s service is only as good as Leupold´s scopes services....jajajaj golden bear, thanks I´ll give them a call. from down the border, JOE

mi SBEII never had the break-in period, just shot two round of skeet the first day and although I often have FTF(2/100) while shooting at geese, I dont regret buying it. I still shoot quail with the SBEII and 7/8 international skeet loads @1375 ft/s and it works flawless. before the SBEII I owned a urika and after shooting the benelli I´ll never go back. from down the border, JOE
-
after a year of owning my SBEII the recoil pad is wearing out and dinging. but I´ve only shot about 1500 round through the shotgun. and believe me I take great care for the gun. where can I find a relacement? the confortech pieces of rubber in the stock are all misaligned and look out of place, specially the one on top, has anyone experienced this? the once looking princess is now looking like a 870 well used tool. from down the border, JOE
-
I´ve only expererinced FTF with the gun pointing the sky while shooting at geese. maybe shot 300 rounds of 2 3/4 baby magnums @ 1400 ft/s. I¨ll take my hat to Benelli squad as my SBEII shoots mandatory 7/8 oz. rounds of international skeet as well as my o/u.(without a single failure). as for the safe, I just cut the spring about 1/16" and reassemble, it just works perfectly. from down the border, JOE

the base you are looking for is the same as the one used by browning on their bar rifles, in leupolds catalog the item number is....49985. joe

awesome performance, and for $5.00 bucks a piece. in your nearest machine shop. when is benelli selling new ideas? its a shame to see the wonder semi-auto shotgun of the year with an old case of chokes. wish benelli had the technology and put (wad wizzard) types of chokes on their guns. if we are having a revolution, please do so. not only half of it. thats why benellis are the only ones where the muzzle rise so much. (inner dia.). I invested a lot of money to buy one, only to find things of the past in a new envelope. while everyones is changing inner diameters the only one stuck with .721" is benelli. my grandfather´s shotgun made in 1930 had the same inner dia. (made in spain). but guess what, benelli is changing their inner dia. in the near future so you can buy a new one. jajajajajajaj told you first.... joe
-
PLEASE PUT ONE CRIO CHOKE IN ONE HAND AND THEN PUT A BERETTA/BENELLI X2 FROM BRILEY AND TRY TO FIND A DIFFERENCE... INNER DIA. ARE MORE COMPATIBLE THAN THE OPTIMA PLUS SERIES. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TAKE THEM TO YOUR MACHINE SHOP AND HAVE THEM ALTER YOUR BRILEY CHOKE TO THE CRIO SPECS. I HAVE DONE IT WITH A DIFUSSION X2 AND WORKS AWESOME......... TRY TO TALK TO BRILEY AND HAVE THEM MAKE YOU A DIFUSSION FOR THE CRIO SYSTEM AJAJAJAAJAJAAJAJAJAAJAJJAAJAJAJA....... JOE
-
HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED THAT BENELLIS SBE OR SBEII TEND TO RISE THE MUZZLE EVERY SHOT? PERSONALLY I WOULD PREFFER TO HAVE ONE IN FRONT (MAG CAP) THAN ONE IN THE STOCK. JOE
-
if there is a gap between barrel and choke, the chokes will be very dirty after few shots. very dirty. as the powder will get into and up to the threads. I will have to wait and see my chokes, later. Joe
-
would you disagree that the safety on a gun is something that should work as well as the trigger? when are we going to see a crio "skeet" choke? not even briley makes them (too few SBEII). or maybe we should get a "imp cyl" optima plus from beretta? (same result..?) Joe
-
I already fixed mine, its very simple. in less than ten minutes. remove only one pin (carefully) spring could fly, graqb the spring and then cut one turn at a time assemble and when you like the pressure(on the safety), stop cutting. then final assemble. since in old Mexico we dont have any benelli dealer, I had to do it myself. if you don´t know the diference between screwdrivers avoid trying. Joe
-
if you put a benelli crio tube (.721") in a beretta optima plus (.733") the lead column will hit the choke exerting maximum pressure in the threads of the choke. believe me I miked mine with professional intruments and measurements are correct. dont even try a full choke crio system in a beretta it would be equal to card shooting chokes. Joe
-
the feel of the air grip is harsh when it should be soft, we shoot a lot of live bird matches with 1400 ft/s of 1 1/4 loads, my hands will get thorn with the "air grip". I´m going to need gloves to shoot sporting clays. If my recoil pad gets lost while hunting, I´m going to shoot my gun at whoever is responsilbe for authorizing the "system". I think I better lock tite it now.
-
Just received mine today, "gray" bluing on the barrel and very black "bluing" on receiver, mmm.... forend nut..... although nice design looks like the cheapest piece a mosberg would be fine without. I just don´t like the plastics (they feel cheap) on top end semi-auto. they even sound "empty". parenthood should teach some things (take a look at an Urika) like QUALITY. design is catching up to the urika. the air grip is very raspy. can´t wait to shoot it. my 2 cents. Joe

another guy in another forum claims that they are not interchangable if what CAMO talks about then the patterns from BENDDG are not real. are not real for the constriction specified in the choke. as a modified beretta tube would pattern as a cylinder crio tube....in the SBEII. more or less. thanks joe
-
HOW SIMILAR AR THEY COMPARED TO THE OPTIMA PLUS FROM BERETTA..? WHAT IS THE EXACT BORE OF THE SBEII? IS IT .732" ? I WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE I WANT TO ORDER SOME FROM BRILEY. JOE
-
FOR THE PRICE OF A NEW BARREL, I WOULD TAKE MINE TO MY GUNSMITH AND GET DONE THE LONGER FORCING CONES AND NEVER GET IT PORTED. I ALWAYS MAKE MY FORCING CONES AND LOVE THEM, BUT I WOULD NEVER GET MY BARRELS PORTED.TOO MUCH NOISE... www.shotgunreport.com JOE
