    05 models?

the 2005 guns will be shown on the website in April I think
  5. How is the recoil if you were to use it for 100 rounds of trap in 1 day? It is an 8 lb gun so I assume its very minor recoil for light loads???
  6. Yeah I thought I read it damages barrels by scoring the insides of the bore?

    2005 Benelli

a comfort stock nova would be cool
  8. I don't know. I just have read there, and I think on here, about backlogs of getting them fixed, and why are they breaking to begin with?
  9. I heard on SGW that Benelli has hundreds of Nova's they are trying to repair. Is this true, I was looking at picking one up.

  11. Steel shouldn't be used in a full choke, and from what I understand hevi shot is harder than steel, and I think it might damage the choke, also I think it would actually open your patterns and not tighten them. I think people on here might recommend a modified choke, but I really dont know.
  12. We are getting stiffed real bad here in Ontario. Example... the 870, 1300 and Nova are all roughly 300US, so naturally in Canada all three should be around 400CDN. while this is true, the Nova is an additional 200$ making it 600CDN... this is the same with any Benelli gun, they are marked up here in Ontario and its not fair! Someone please do something!
  13. I'm not worried about the weight for carrying in a feild, I am worried about it kicking me with recoil. Is the nova 8 pounds without the recoil reducer? I would only be firing 2-3/4 shells mainly. I do not have a chance to try any of them out, but I have a SxS that weighs 8 pounds and its not too bad with a slip on recoil pad. Thanks for the insight. 14. I heard its pretty hard and beats you up?
  15. well does it recoil that bad anywazs? its a fairly heavy gun, I don't see how it can be worse than any other 8 pounds gun, ie 870, etc.

    nova recoil

8 pounds is already a very heavy gun. shouldn't kick too bad.
  17. I guess it doesn't have a cutoff then?

    nova recoil

I'm a small guy, but if the website says the Nova is 8 pounds, and the SxS I have now is 8 pounds, then I guess its really not all that light, people exagerate.
  19. I have read that the longer the chamber, the more your pattern will open up
  20. Benelli has yet to email me back about this. If the comfortstock is considerably pricy, perhaps they will not put it on the nova to keep the nova price down..? I would like to know now thou whether I should wait for it or not. Also, if the gun weights 8 pounds, why does everyone recommend the recoil reducer, when almost ALL pumps weight about 8 pounds, ie, the 870, 1300 and bps.
  21. When does the 2005 lineup show up on the website?
  22. I want to buy a Nova, but I want to wait if the Nova will get the new ComforTect stock put on it. Does anyone know the offical answer?
