hey chip, turkeys are the most easily spooked animal i have ever hunted. i would also recommend a push pull box call that can strap onto your gun barrel so you wont spook them by moving. good luck

i would say you wouldnt want to shoot past 40-45 yards. why would you want a scope for turkey hunting ive never heard of that. i just shoot open sights. and the best choke i have ever used was a kicks for my sp10.

i get really good patterns out of a kicks choke with federal 3-1/2 tungsten plated shells

i turkey hunt alot and have patterned my gun every year and i found one of the best chokes to be kicks. i was in the woods and talked to birds but never saw any close enough to throw shot at

i use federal steel high velocity 3-1/2s and they work well. out to about 35-40 yards. but any farther than that i dont think i would take a shot
