  1. So does installing this hammer along with a full-length tube, follower and forend make a C-stock equipped M4 922r compliant?

It should, the C-stock counts as two parts so you would need to replace four parts with U.S. parts. I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice, just my understanding.

  2. YES!! it is absolutely legal to install a c-stock on your 14" SBS. provided you own it legally with it having been registered with the Feds as an "SBS". and since its already registered, you can put whatever you want on it. "here's where i'd put a cool icon, but these new ones on the new format are STUPID"!! GOOD LUCK with your new benelli.

Now that is a class 3 weapon it is no longer considered a shotgun, or any type of regular firearm. You can put anything on it including a flame thrower (they are not regulated by the NFA)

    Have fun.

  3. Not an engineer but I am a gunsmith. Any decent smith should be able to silver solder your front sight back on with no problem. Discoloration should be pretty minimal and you could have it re-parked as well. You should be able to get it done for about $100 total.

Nice work on the forearm by the way. Do you have any close-ups?

Thank you, It is custom and I will post some close ups. Cost about $40 not counting the surefire M3 combat light. I got the parts from Numrich (?) and will send you a link to my demo instructions.

  5. But spell Benelli and completed incorrectly in the title of your own thread? Careless, ignorant, or excited? Excuses. Makes me question if there were any "extra" pieces after it was assembled.

But I have a hobby machine shop and can restore a car from the frame on a rotisseerie I welded myself.

It took me 15 minutes to type this with an Oxford Dictionary. But I am not offended, I have been harassed about this for fourty years. And yes, I did have parts left over, eight and a half inches of barrel and a front sight assembly. I did not know this forum had a spell checker.

    Peace,

    d

  6. Agreed. Also, if you have the ability to measure (with dial calipers), would you be willing to determine the final thickness of the end of the barrel? Also, while you are at it, could you measure the inside diameter at the barrel end? Thanks man.

Of course, I would like to put on the mep light front sight I have. I have calipers and will do a compleate measurment of center of bore to back sight. I just do not want to mess the finish.

  7. 1, rubber thin o ring to replace the detent. Two port gas system, fire 2.75 and 3 inch and have no problums.

    2. Capicaty is six 2.75 inch shells with a carrier load.

    3. It it is senstive to ammo. I primarly use magnum loads but it will cycle with #4 3?.

  8. That is f'ing awesome. Do you plan to put the front sight back on?

It would be to difficult to resolder it with out discoulring the barrel. I think I am going to put a small red dot like a doctor optics on it, with a ten inch barrel I will not need long range accurace. I also have a laser sight mounted under the barrel (you can barely see it in the picture.) It has three adjustable laser dots that are adjustable and I set them for my pattern at 15 yards.

  9. Pretty sure that if it didn't come from the factory with a pistol grip you will be changing its classification, thus making it illegal. When you buy a shotgun with a pistol grip they are classified as an "Any other weapon (AOW)", not as a regular shotgun. Also, the Super Nova comes with a comfortech stock. Why would you use a super nova rather than a regular nova?

The are only a class 3 weapon (AOW) if the barrel is less than 18" or overall length is less than 26"

    Thank you,

    -D.

  10. Just got mine and put it on last night. What a difference! Having the stock set on the middle position makes the Super Nova feel like a completely different gun. Yes, very spendy, but worth every penny in my opinion.

I had a Specter 6-shell buttstock pouch on my SN when it was wearing the standard stock, but I don't know if that's going to work now. I've got it on there, but the forward strap rides right next to the stock button, and the strap also prevents the stock from being closed all the way. I'll just have to play with it a while and see how it works.

Also, from the pictures of the stock I thought that small circular indentation at the back, bottom corner of the stock was a QD sling swivel attachment point, but it isn't. Anyone know what this is for?

Good Question, I have not figured it out yet.

  11. Alright, I ordered and received a new C stock from HK. I'm attempting to put this on a M1014. And when I went to put it on, it locks in a 45 degree position fully extended and will not collapse at all. My question is, are there different recoil tubes? There are no lines on the tube as described in the PDF so I'm just wondering am I A) that retarded as to get my ass kicked by a stock (possible) or B) are there different tubes- and if so where do I get the right one.
