Hi. Can you send me some pics of your barrel?How old is it? I have a like new 28 on my Super Nova. I am not sure of what are the advantages or disadvantages of the extra two inches , but I think I would like a shorter one for aesthetics! Ciao. Gio.

I wish I could help you! I own the same gun. I have been looking for a shorter barrel for long time. Not found one yet. There is not a big market for Benelli unfortunately, not like my old Mossberg! Good luck. Gio.

Hi guys. I have a Super Nova with a +3 factory mag extension and I am now faced with a little problem. After installing the extension my barrel is not easy to remove anymore. Is there a easy way to clean it without taking it out? Thanks. Gio.

Yes they are. Unfortunately are not easy to find, unless you want pay 2-3 hundred $ for them.

Mine is just the basic black with a 28" barrel and is not.

Well! I see those on Ebay and I wonder also about quality and fit. I guess nobody here knows anything about them. I may have to buy one and I let you know.

The mag extension and barrels are interchangeable according to Benelli service dpt. I don't know about the side saddle.

Thanks for the replays guys and girls. Well , even without a heat-shield a 18.5 smooth-bore should do the job. Any ideas on where can I find one that is not almost as expensive as the gun is? For the other stuff that you suggest Rambo-ette I am going to get them all............ just need some time.

Well , thanks clayflingythingy. Yup , must be nice to be rich! I just had enough money for ONE shotgun and I will be using it mostly for hunting and clay shooting. But would be nice to have it ready for defence possibility also. Hey I do like Rambo. Is the man!

Hi guys. I just bought a new Benelli Super Nova with a 28" barrel and I need some suggestions-help on transforming it in to a HD tactical gun. I am thinking about a 18.5 or 24 inch barrel maybe with a heath shield on it should do it. It is my understanding that the Super can use the regular Nova barrels. Do you know where can I find this items or any other you may suggest at a good price? Also I wonder if you can you use buckshots or regular #7 shoot on a rifled barrel ???? Thanks. Gio.

RDN Thanks. My new gun came with extra shims and I know the recoil pad is interchangeable but I did not see any around for sale at the gun show and I don't know if the fit the SBEII . EZEE My Super Nova has no rattle at all. Great fit and finish, feels solid and smooth. Happy shooting. Gio.

Well. I did it. Went to the gun show and got my Super Nova. I already love this gun , looks and feels great. No forearm rattle on the Super. Cant wait until I get to shoot with it. Just for reference I payed $399.00 for it.

Hi. Just wander if anybody here knows when the Supernova is going to show up in stores. I am ready to buy the regular Nova but now I have to wait until the Super one arrives....... There is a gun show the 25 of March in Orlando, I hope there is going to be one there for sale.
