    Limbsaver Pad

I have one on my M1 and it does reduce felt recoil somewhat. I can't easily compare it to the stock pad because I hadn't shot my M1 for a couple years prior to installing the limbsaver.
  2. This is all news to me, but then I haven't been cruising the Benelli forums lately. I almost bought an M4 a few days ago and now I'm thinking maybe it's a good thing I didn't. It's disturbing to hear about these problems. Can someone explain to me the reason why there are 2-port and 4-port barrels? Do you have a choice as to which you get? Is it necessary to use a 4-port barrel for reduced recoil loads to function reliably? The M1 has proven to be super durable over the years, even with many, many thousands of rounds through them and I thought the M4 was supposed to be at least as durable. Maybe it is and these are rare cases, but hearing about this really shakes my confidence in this model.
  3. Yes, the 28" field barrel will definitely fit your receiver. As to where to buy one, I'm not sure. They seem to be hard to find and not cheap. Here's one place that may have them. http://www.e-gunparts.com/product.asp?chrProductSKU=742540&MC=

  5. In my opinion, everyone should be concerned about home defense and have a plan, regardless of where you live. Home invasions are far more common these days than ever before, even in very nice neighborhoods. No one is immune from this. There's no need to be paranoid about it, but on the other hand, it makes sense to be prepared.
  6. I bought an 18.5" Benelli barrel for my a M1S90 Field 26" and it fits perfectly. All M1S90 barrels are interchangable. It doesn't matter whether it's a tactical or field model - they all fit.
