  1. Still available. This gun has hardly been used at all and is in close to pristine condition. Someone will be very happy with it. I'm open to reasonable offers but no trades.
  2. Any issues with the swivels? I've heard of some people who didn't like them for some reason.
  3. Looking for suggestions for a good sling for a SBE II. What are you guys using? thanks
  4. The Alaska Dept. of Natural Resources recommends a 12 ga shotgun for protection against Grizzly Bears so it would certainly be more than adequate for Black Bear.
  5. Wow. I guess the muzzle break barrel really jacks the price up?
  6. I'm surprised that DEET doesn't work for you guys. It is a well proven repellent for ticks and mosquitos and is recommended by the CDC. It seems to work for me as long as I use a product with at least 30% DEET. And I think it is less of a health risk to humans and pets than permethrin.
  7. Nice! Even though the IC/Hevi-13/Benelli combination patterns well at long ranges, the shooter still has to do his part. Good shooting!
  8. CLP is the way to go and the best CLP in my opinion (and quite a few others) is Weaponshield. They will probably send you a free sample if you ask. At least they used to. http://www.steelshieldtech.com/prodsheetpdf/pdfcombined/WeaponShield.pdf
  9. H&K Benelli M1 Super 90 field version 26" barrel. Includes five Benelli chokes, choke wrench, owners manual, the shims tht came with the gun, Limbsaver pad (plus the factory pad) and a mercury recoil reducer. This gun is in excellent condition. It has seen very limited use - less than 400 rounds total. I'm the original owner. The reason I'm selling it is because I just bought a Super Black Eagle II and I can't justify having both with the limited amount of shooting that I do. I can email photos on request. $675 shipped and insured conus. Can also do a face to face in the Cincinnati/Dayton area.
  10. I don't think there is any problem in terms of the chamber pressure. According to Benelli, all of their 12 Ga. shotguns are proof tested to 1370 bar which is 19,870 PSI. The maximum Saami pressure for a 3.5" magnum is 14,000 PSI.
  11. That's what I was afraid of. Thanks!
  12. There are no messages in my in box. I just sent you a PM.
  13. Is it safe to use Hevi-13 with a Benelli CrioChoke (full)?
  14. I have an H&K M1 Super 90 that I'm getting ready to sell. It's the field version with a 26" barrel but I also have a factory 18.5" barrel with rifle sights that I'll be selling separately. It hasn't been used much at all. Probably no more than 40 to 50 rounds through the 18.5" barrel. PM me if you're interested.
  15. I have a factory pistol grip stock for an M1 that I will sell. I bought it years ago put it on the gun but didn't really like it. I never even fired the gun with it installed so it is essentially like new. I just prefer straight grip stocks. Anyway, if you're interested I can email you a photo. I'd like to get $100 shipped and insured but I would consider a reasonable offer. Thanks.
  16. I'm planning to go turkey hunting next month for the first time. I'll be using an older M1S90 and I'm having trouble finding a turkey choke for it. Most of them seem to be for the new Crio barrels. Can someone recommend something that will fit my barrel that they've had good luck with? Or would I be just as well off using the full choke that came with the gun?
  17. I'm pretty sure they are brazed on so it wouldn't be an easy replacement. I solved the problem by painting mine white and it really helps.
  18. I have one that I'm willing to sell. You can send me a PM if you're interested. Bill
  19. Did they say how much it would cost?
  20. But all things being equal, a heavier gun will have less felt recoil. Are you disputing that?
  21. It's not just the spring he's talking about, it's the whole tube assembly. I've heard good things about them but still, just a regular cleaning and lubing should accomplish the same thing. http://www.surecycle.com/default.asp
  22. Do you really need to wonder? I think you know...
