Good guns, good cars, good food, and obviously good soccer--My hat's off to you Italy, way to go!
-
Do it man.

Nah, I doubt is is fully auto. If you search for 'Benelli M4' on Google Video you'll see a couple of other vids where he fires fast, but the frequency isn't constant.
-
Wow. That's awesome, thanks for posting it. Makes me all the more proud of my brother over in Iraq right now.

Holly cow! Now that is a true testament to the M4's prowess. Looks like I have a little practicing to do. Thanks for the link.Originally posted by tone loc:check this out...http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8805640459134175813&q=benelli+M4

Okay, shot some pigeons of the clay persuasion last Friday--what a blast! It took a little bit to get used to the Docter red dot sight, but once I got the hang of it I was powdering them left and right. Part of the problem I was having at first was that the Mesa Tactical shell holder rail started coming loose and I lost my zero. Luckily I had the hex tool with me and made sure to keep it tight afterwards. I guess they weren't kidding about the Locktite! Anyway, my M1014 is now my official skeet gun.

Took this video last Friday while skeet shooting. Needless to say, my buddies were duly impressed by my shotty's tacticoolness. In fact, so impressed that my buddy held the camera sideways. Anyway, shooting an M1014 that quick is one of lifes little joys.

Nice, very tacticool. Great pic.

I used some cheap ones I found off Ebay--here're the links:
I got those to start with because they were cheap with the idea of keeping an eye out for better stuff that came along. As for the diameter, I think it's an inch, but the diameter changes for the smaller in the center. I just left those rubber things on and clamped the mount to them, and it works fine.

Well, I'm going skeet shooting with my uber-tacticool M1014 tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes using a Docter red dot sight.

Thanks guys.
Washington... He's the man! It's this funny little flash/movie thing that's going around. Here's the linky linky. WARNING: it has lots of foul language so it's not worksafe and may make your friggen ears hurt.
Edit: Boosted the warning.

Just make sure you don't set it down for very long--you might not find it again. (ya know, cuz it's camouflaged and all...)

So I went to the range today to sight my baby in. Started out with the target on the 25 yard line shooting Brenneke K.O. slugs. The first few shots were way off and totally missed the target. I finally dialed it in fairly well then moved a fresh target back to 50 yards to do the fine tuning. The first shot put the slug high and to the right, and I decided to shoot another to make sure that's where they were going. After the second shot I couldn't for the life of me tell where it went. Surely I didn't completely miss the target, I thought. So I shot a third slug and again it looked like I totally missed. I was totally bummed and decided to take a closer look at the target and that's when I saw that I hadn't been missing—instead I’d been shooting laser-beams like the ones that come out of Washington's eye balls.
Not bad for 3 slugs at 50 yards, eh?

Hey dude. Yea, the CQB sling makes carrying the M4 around a breeze. The transition to shooting position is also very, very quick. I got the sling for the Benelli M1/M2/M3, shown here.
Not sure what color you want, but I got the Coyote Grey one.

Thanks guys. The mount I used is the one it came with--a factory Weaver style mount. Fits great on the Pic rail there.

Okay my Benelli Bros, my M1014 has finally reached the pinnacle of tacticoolness. After alluding to this in several posts, I give you: my M1014 with Docter Optic red dot sight and Surefire M3 flashlight.

No prob. I just love my sling.

Yea, but he's the Poh-leece.
Oh, notice the P220 in his belt. Sigs rule.
-
Now that's freakin pimp! Very nice

Michael Mann is the man! Can't wait for Miami Vice to come out--it looks to be every bit as good as Heat and Collateral.

Oooo, I leave for the weekend and all the sudden everyone has tacticool forends. Yikes! Nice rig by the way, WIN. I think I'll just stick with my Sidearmor rail--nothing drastic but allows me to fix on my Surefire. I'll have some pics up soon with a Surefire M3 hooked up.
-
Yup, here's to the Benelli Brothers!

Duggan, PM sent.
I don't really have a source, I ended up finding someone who sold me his used sight.
What is different between M1 and M4?

Part of the reason for the gas system on the M4 is so that people can bolt on sights, flashlights, shell carriers, etc and not interfere with the reliability of the system. In order for the M1 to cycle properly, it must be allowed to recoil--ie the body of the gun must move back to compress an inertial spring. If you add too many accessories to the M1 you may interfere with that. The M4 operates with a gas system so you can add as many things as you'd like and it won't affect the cycling reliability.
